Sheer Silence

48" x 24" inches (2x)

Oil on canvas

2026

Sheer Silence is a two-canvas series exploring the warfare between modern cultural saturation and profound clarity.

The lower panel,  "Influencer (Noise)", utilizes frantic action-painting techniques to mirror a chaotic digital feed—a discordant traffic jam of splatters, interest-grabbing marks, and urgent slashes that demands attention but leaves the viewer mostly empty with nothing worthy to retain.

Above it is "(Quiet) Wisdom."  A shielded white sanctuary protected by a cerulean blue perimeter, softly blending into an interior meditation among hidden white-on-white texture, sealed by purple and vibrant orange on its outermost edges.

Stacking these canvases reveals two sides of our search for meaning: one blinds us with static, while the other allows attentive listening for inspired knowledge. The series illustrates an Old Testament instruction: wisdom is found, not in the earthquake, fire, or storm, but in the sheer silence that follows them.

The Violence of Grace (Lux Redemptrix) I–IV

18x24” inches (46 x 61cm)
Oil on Canvas panel
2026

The Violence of Grace I–IV explores the collision between unpredictable rescue and complex trauma. Utilizing fluid dynamics, viscosity, and raw chemical weight, the ancient gold travels to where it is needed: the layered knots of heavy black wounds.

Rather than entirely concealing the damage, the gold aggressively meets four hidden structures of pain. Not to erase, but for both to be altered by the encounter  The series isn't safe or decorative but honors the reality that deep healing is a result of intense intervention and fierce disruption, transfiguring what was into something new.

Resilience Restored

18” x 24” inches (3x)

Oil on canvas panel

2026

Individual titles:

Disorder, Target, Order

Resilience Restored is a visual mapping of a standoff with disease. The triptych tracks a systemic navigation of clinical , moving from chaotic bodily breakdown (Disorder), into the precision of a targeted therapy (Target), to the ultimate reclamation of a manageable, reasonable peace (Order).

With clinical detachment, the series uses color, urgency, and mark-making to plot a biological battlefield—illustrating the moments where human resilience is empowered by medical science to force a hopeful, even if temporary, peace.

Oil on canvas, or canvas panels

This catalog curates the recurring, irrepressible "Totus" motif from across the portfolio.

Acting as a copilot with a seemingly urgent desire to collaborate, this instinctive sequence of nested rectangles executes a complex cycle of control, containment, and sometimes sacrifice. At times, its heavy, monolithic lines corral and restrict space; at others, it shifts and amplifies light to open portals.

Mr. Jacobson

Oil and termpra glassa on canvas

The title of this six-part Abstract Expressionist series, Mr. Jacobson, strips away the distance of historical sainthood. By modernizing the story of Saint Joseph—a literal "son of Jacob"—these works recast him not as a detached icon, but as an approachable, everyday craftsman facing an extraordinary reality.
Mr. Jacobson explores the visceral weight of a man striving his best under the pressure of a divine assignment. Utilizing a deeply tactile, organic language of layered blues, textured elements, and stark structural barriers, the collection mirrors the physical grit of labor and the psychological weight of fatherhood. The series tracks an ordinary husband navigating isolation, exile, and protective anxiety, ultimately finding a profound, quiet bravery in a life fully given over to love.

Entropy

18” x 24” inches (2x)

Oil on canvas panel

2026

This diptych explores the inevitable passage from order to dissolution. Entropy I  is gestural masses in a state of charged, fracturing  restraint—high-potential energy held under visible strain. In Entropy II, that tension collapse into release and surrender. Together, the pair captures the thermodynamic arc of energy: from vibrating intensity to liberated relesase.

A meditative space carved from a flat color field. A limited introduction of friction and texture provides the finite traction needed to open up a viewer’s infinite imagination.
